THE BRIEF
Talenthouse x Adidas LDN collaborated to create a wall mural for Adidas Womens in London. In 2017 Adidas will be launching the Adidas Studio LDN, which is space to co-create and share creative passion for fitness and lifestyle- bringing fitness and creativity together to empower women.
To amplify the Adidas Studio LDN in London and their #HereToCreate campaign, Adidas are inviting street artists, illustrators, graphic designers from around the world to create wall art/ mural art, which will be displayed in an exhibition at their studio as well as an outdoor wall.
THE DESIGN CONCEPT
SPIRIT OF TIME
The design is inspired by the Greek terracotta ceramics and the Olympics Games, which was originally held at Greece. At that time, women were not allowed to participate and even not allowed to watch the games. Hence, the design is to show how far women's roles have been extended and appreciated. The design includes several figures of sportswomen who have made great achievement in their lines as to encourage more roles for women to pursue.
