THE BRIEF

Vone Clothing is an Indonesian fashion brand that focused on print works on their clothing collection. The Spring Summer collection theme was "Fallen Angel" and I'm one of the appointed textile designer / illustrator to do this project.

 

THE DESIGN CONCEPT

My pattern illustration idea was based on baroque and rococo style that is characterized by exaggerated motion and clear detail used to produce drama, exuberance, and grandeur in sculpture , painting, architecture, literature, dance, and music. I was influenced by Italian Baroque architecture characteristics that includes curving forms, asymmetry, and other mix ornaments decoration. The color choice is deep, rich color, intense light and dark shadows to create the drama.
